Bostie Apple Picking

Back by popular demand!

This is a great idea dreamed up by the Frenchie meetup who does this every year. I’ve always wanted to do something like this and think it will be a great way to connect with each other.

This year we’re switching up the rescue and raising money for SNORT Rescue. If you have a dog who doesn’t love to be in the company of other dogs you are more than welcome to come alone. Also if you have a dog who may not be great in the big meetup setting but is good on leash then this is a great way to meet new friends.

I am asking apple picking attendees for a suggested donation of $20 per group to help out Bostons in need at SNORT.

This is weather dependent. Scheduling for a Saturday and then if the weather isn't good that day but okay the next we'll just go the next day.

Important Rules/Information

There’s a country store on site with hot apple dumplings, cider donuts and other goodies to eat and drink. There are also picnic benches where we can have a picnic after we’re done apple picking.

The farm is cash only! They have an ATM on site (according to their website) but we suggest bringing enough cash just in case.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the store. Be respectful and pick up after your dogs. I’ll bring extra poop bags so that in the event someone needs some we’ll have some available.

All dogs must remain on leash at all times. Leashes must be no longer than 6 ft in length and anyone using a retractable leash must have it locked at 6 ft. We want to respect the owners and their farm so please adhere to this rule.

Since we’re going to be in the country it’s important to check your dogs and yourself thoroughly throughout the event and after for ticks.

As an aside, please adhere to our member guidelines. Our guidelines are the same if not similar to the rules stated at the dog parks we visit. You can find them here if you haven’t already read them.
