The duo behind btb

We’re Sally and Shyla the duo behind BTB. In November 2015 I met this spunky little girl named Shyla. I had never owned a dog before, let alone a senior dog. She had been surrendered to SNORT Rescue for not getting along with the baby in the house. I knew her foster dad and got to spend some serious quality time with her. I immediately fell in love with her attitude and refusal to do anything I said. I admittedly stalked the SNORT website for months. Waiting and waiting to see when she’d be put up for adoption. Then one day I came in to see that she was no longer on the foster page. I thought for sure someone else had scooped her up. Thankfully, she was just moved to the adoptable dogs page. I knew I had to have her and put in an application to be her mom. After a phone interview and a house inspection I received the call on Mother’s Day that would change my life forever. I had been approved to adopt Shyla. I had no idea what I was getting myself into but I knew I loved Shyla and that was all that mattered. Four years later she still makes me laugh every day.
